Life on a Farm Camp
This camp offers an exciting opportunity for students to gain insight into the inner
workings of small farms. Participants will explore a farm featuring various animals
and engage in handson activities with different farm animals. The daily schedule includes
enjoyable experiences
that stimulate creativity, foster self-expression, and enhance confidence. Participants
are responsible for their own transportation to and from the local farms each day
of camp.
Small Business Entrepreneurship Camp
Ignite your child’s confidence and entrepreneurial spirit at our dynamic camp! Guided by experienced business leaders, campers will transform their interests into a mock business venture. This immersive experience is designed to be fun, interactive, and informative, presenting youths with diverse career possibilities in today’s marketplace. Throughout the camp, participants collaborate in small groups to develop a business idea to present to a panel of judges on day four in a semi-final competition, fostering teamwork and creative thinking. The grand finale will showcase the top teams from the semi-final competition and will involve advanced business strategizing. Winners will receive exciting rewards, adding an extra layer of motivation to this empowering journey.
Introducing Kids to Beekeeping
Did you know that bees are amazing? They pollinate the plants and flowers we love to eat and drink, produce honey for us to enjoy, and give us wax that we can use for a variety of household crafts. At Kids Bee Camp we love bees! We want our campers to understand how their actions can impact the environment and encourage them to become better environmental stewards. A great way to connect with nature, while building character through responsibility and leadership!
Capture the Moment: iPhone Photography Camp
Become skilled with the use of your iPhone camera and use the best photo apps available. Learn how to take and edit photos, and how to troubleshoot the most common issues. The class will cover the principles of photography, the art of composition, how to find great lighting, and advanced techniques. Classes will consist of lectures, demonstrations, critiques, and discussions. Photo walks to on campus locations will also be part of the class, allowing students to apply lessons. Requirement: Bring your own iPhone.
Learn to Make T-Shirt Quilt Camp
If you have T-shirts you love but no longer wear, a T-Shirt quilt is the perfect thing to learn to make. Learn the steps to make a memory quilt for yourself or as a gift. Sewing or quilting experience is not required. Campers will need to bring several clean T-shirts and a working sewing machine. After designing and creating the quilt top, campers will apply backing and batting, encase and tie to finish the quilt.
STEAM Max Camps
STEAM Max Camp allows campers to explore the fields of science, technology, engineering, visual arts, culinary arts and math through fun engaging activities. Campers rotate through five sessions each day creating their own video games, completing engineering challenges using math and science concepts, learning creative tricks in the culinary arts kitchen, coding robots and using problem-solving skills to tackle real-world challenges. (Cost includes a T-shirt, snacks and drinks. Campers must bring lunch and are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle.)
Line Dance Camp
The Line Dance workshop is for students to dance, have fun, and express themselves in a creative, safe, and supportive environment. Campers will learn choreography for the most popular line dances such as to the Electric Slide, the Cupid Shuffle, and Copperhead Road. Supplies needed: Close-toed shoes, comfortable clothes, and water. Campers that are in STEAM Max will be walked over daily.
Jr Chef Culinary Camp
Join our Jr Chef Culinary Camp for a week of food exploration! Our chefs will guide you in hands-on cooking and baking from scratch, emphasizing safety and cleanliness. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your passion for cooking and a willingness to learn. Throughout the week, you'll master proper knife cuts and prepare diverse daily themes, including French, Japanese, Hawaiian, and a finale featuring breakfast burritos with handmade flour tortillas and a cookie cake. If your child delights in both cooking and dining out, enroll them today! Dietary restrictions/allergies will be addressed during camp registration. Closed-toed shoes and an apron or smock are required for all participants.
Fishing Camp
Campers will learn fishing fundamentals, such as safe and proper casting techniques, baiting a hook with worms or crickets, and basic knots for tying on hooks and lures. Campers will also learn some universally effective techniques to help them catch fish in just about any local body of water. This is a great camp for anglers who have never fished, or who are wishing to become self-sufficient on the water.
Coding & 3D Printing Bootcamp
Come create with us! Through our 3D Printing, Design and Coding Bootcamp we will encourage students to develop their creativity and problem-solving skills. Using Sphero robots, instructors will demonstrate how to program a robot using Sphero Edu. Building on this strong foundation, students will be introduced to Tinkercad, an online design tool through which they can practice their 3D creation skills. After completing their projects, students take home a piece of their own creation.
Drones Camp
Whether you’re a beginner or experienced drone pilot, this camp is tailored for you. Gain comprehensive knowledge on safely and legally flying drones in order to capture breathtaking footage. Learn drone mechanics, precision operation, FAA regulations, flight planning, altitude control, throttle management, and visual orientation. By the end, you’ll be well-equipped for exciting drone adventures!
Robotics Camp
Delve into robotics with our camp! Learn to design, build, and program robots for diverse tasks. Covering mechanical and electrical components, programming, and control, explore robot types like wheeled, humanoid, and drones, and their applications in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, and entertainment. By camp’s end, you’ll grasp robotics principles, possess skills for simple robot design and programming, and glimpse the impactful future of robotics in society. Join our robotics camp for an exciting journey into this evolving field!
Horse Harmony Camp
Uncover the world of horses in a four-day camp emphasizing safety, horse care, and understanding horse psychology. Engaging workshops and hands-on activities teach essential safety around horses, boosting confidence in handling these magnificent animals. Delve into horse care intricacies, from grooming to feeding, fostering a deeper appreciation for the human-horse bond. Explore horse psychology for a respectful and empathetic connection. Ideal for beginners and enthusiasts, this camp offers a unique, holistic perspective on the equine world, without riding.
Advanced Fishing Camp
If your camper is a competent angler seeking to up their skills and catch more fish, this is the camp for you! Campers will learn specialized skills including tackle selection for targeting local fish, a variety of useful fishing knots, fishing with slip floats, and advanced casting skills such as flipping and pitching baits. We will focus on largemouth bass and bluegill for this camp, though we can focus on other species based on input from campers.
